Human Development 

The programs and ministries that are supported by the HOPE Appeal cultivate Catholic leadership, advance social justice and empower parish communities.

                Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday 10:00am-2:00pm

Client eligibility:

  • Clients must reside in the 13211 zip code.

  • Clients may use the food pantry once per month, we then provide food for 3 meals 3 days per family member.

  • Counseling provided for clients seeking to enroll in SNAP and WIC programs.

Altar Rosary Society

Welcomes all women to continue our mission by providing the adornment of the sanctuary and promote a greater devotion to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Meetings are the 3rd week of the month from September to May.

Youth Group

For students in grades 6th - 12th to help their community and further their spiritual growth in a light hearted atmosphere.

This ministry assists in the planning of the funeral liturgy for families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

 Visitors Ministry

Continues a connection to parishioners who are homebound by visiting and administering communion or by simply sending a card or phone call 

Planning & Fundraising Committee

Coordinates fundraising efforts and events that will maximize donations to support St. Margaret’s Parish mission.

Health Ministry

Provides blood pressure checks and health information to parishioners after mass. 

Parish Council

Nominated members of the parish to serve as an advisory or consultative body for the pastor and recommend actions which will promote the common good of the parish.

Hospitality Committee

Sponsors events that reach out to welcome members of the community and promote fellowship.
